What should I do before movers pack up my items?
Before our movers arrive to pack up the items, there are a few things we recommend doing to both save time and money:
Create an inventory of items
Although entirely optional, we recommend you separate items by categories to keep everything organized. Go into each room of your house and write down everything you want movers to pack. This will save time on your booking and, in turn, save you money!
Determine what items you want the movers to pack
If you have special items you would prefer to pack yourself; you can do so ahead of time and avoid dealing with them before the movers arrive. Valuable things like jewelry and cash can easily be stored beforehand! After you have determined what items you want to put away yourself, you can designate an area of the house with your valuables so you can keep track of things.
